    I just love this book I am a Prime member on and if I say no rush delivery I get a pound each time so with my savings I bought this little gem I didn t realize how much I would love all the patterns There are some really awesome baby knits in here and I would gladly recommend to all who knit

    I really like this book I have, in the past, made patterns from it before and will soon be again for new babies coming into my life D I have to admit, however, that this is the first time I also actually read the introductory notes for the book.Overall, this book is a great resource for people wishing to make beautiful pieces for the little ones in their lives The patterns are well designed They have a variety of textures and skill levels to choose from I appreciate that even the easy pieces have enough features to keep the knitting interesting and to keep the final results looking wonderful for baby tot I also really liked that Newton gives suggestions to tweak the patterns, construction, and or colours to create personalized versions of each piece Two items sit a little uncomfortably with me, though with only the most minor detractions from my overall positive impressions of the book i Newton often buys into the gender stereotypes and expectations I am uncomfortable telling or at least showing a six month old that certain colours and patterns are not for him her, or supposed to be for him her based on gender and then we later say these preferences are ...
